Oh yeah, and Brett graduated!

Brett and I both graduated in August, but Brett walked Dec 17th! We are so proud of him! Please send us the good job sending vibes, as it is hard out there in the real world! So far no luck, but hopefully with some prayers and luck he will find something soon. :)

Our little ski racer

So anyone who knows Brett can tell you that he LOVES to ski. He's been counting down the days he could take Landon skiing since the day we found out we were pregnant almost three years ago (Feb 2008)! Well, today we finally did it! Our first family trip to the ski hill. Landon did great, and it was SO much fun! We didn't last too long in the cold, but he took quite a few runs with Landon and by the end he was doing great. It was so fun to see such a proud smile on Brett's face. I have a feeling this is the first of MANY MANY trips up to the ski hill for all of us! I sure hope Peyton ends up liking the snow as much as Landon does!

Merry Christmas!

We had a very low key Christmas this year! Of course the kiddos got spoiled. :) We opened our Christmas pajamas on Christmas Eve night with just our little fam (Brett, me, LJ and Peyton). Mom came over and we did Christmas morning via skype with the Dobyns family so Landon and Millie could open gifts together! It wasn't as good as actually being together, but it's definitely the next best thing! Unfortunately Dad couldn't come over, since he was not discharged from the hospital until Christmas afternoon (he had rotator cuff surgery and they had to keep him extra long as the damage was much more intensive than they anticipated). Thankfully he is doing much better now, and we are going to have our "Christmas dinner" with Mom and Dad on Tuesday night.

Announcing our newest addition!

Peyton Emma Jones came into the world December 8, 2010 at 4:19 PM. She weighed in at 6 lbs 2 oz and measured 18 1/2 inches long.

Kristin was in labor for 6 hours, and had an overall easy labor! She is absolutely beautiful and big brother Landon is very excited to have her at home. He celebrated by jumping up and down all over the hospital room!
